OUR STORY
Kenton Liam Wolfe was born October 6th, 1993 in Sudbury, Ontario to his loving parents Mick and Kallie. Along with his siblings, the family moved to Niagara Falls, Ontario before Kenton turned 2 years old. Kenton spent his childhood playing hockey and video games, watching movies, and eating ridiculous food creations with his brother and now-Best Man Wes.
It was only fitting Kenton’s love of movies would draw him to the Cineplex Odeon theatre in Niagara Falls in October of 2006, where he met Michelle for the first time. Across a crowded food court, Kenton spotted Michelle eating an A&W chicken burger. Rather than courting her in normal tradition, Kenton reached onto her dinner tray and grabbed some of Michelle’s fries and lettuce. It was love at first bite.
Officially uniting in May 2008, Kenton and Michelle have become an inseparable duet of awesome. Throughout high school and college they would spend their days loving food, drinks and all things unique. They frequently returned to the movie theatre, often seen attending the midnight releases of the newest superhero movie with Michelle’s brother Tyler.
In high school, Kenton met Patrick and Austin, whom he collaborated with for their YouTube channel BackyardBucketBoxing. Though the channel was short lived, the trio made life-long friendships watching the 2011 NHL playoffs, where Kenton’s favourite team the Vancouver Canucks made a run to the Stanley Cup final.
Identifying a passion for the direction of new media, Kenton attended St. Clair College in Windsor, Ontario for Convergence Media and Journalism where he gained skills in broadcast, writing, digital design, social media, video production and presentation. Starting in 2011, Kenton co-hosted a sports show with Robert dubbed the Between the Lines Sports Podcast. Forming a dynamic duo of broadcast, the pair was identified by local professionals and were offered media internships with the OHL Windsor Spitfires. After fulfilling various duties with the team for parts of two years, the pair then passed the torch to Mitch and Evan, who went on to become some of Kenton’s closest friends.
Following his education, Kenton turned down offers to move West for work in the industry so that him and Michelle could be together while she finished her Veterinary Technician schooling. In September of 2013, Kenton accepted a position with Meridian Credit Union where he has steadily increased his role and now utilizes his skills in media to support his title as Technical and Digital Services Representative.

Michelle Lauren Brooks was born January 21st, 1993 in Niagara Falls, Ontario. From a very young age, Michelle loved and cared for all animals, including her family pets Mindy, Sadie, Max and Alfie.
​
Her parents, Chris and Filomena, raised Michelle with a deep appreciation of friends and family, meeting for bonfires and barbeques with her cousins every weekend. Michelle would have frequent sleepovers with her childhood friend Jamie, who by chance was the daughter of the Best-Man at Chris and Fil's wedding.
She also made good friends with her neighbour Julianne. Michelle would hangout in Julianne's basement listening to Blink 182, Simple Plan and The Used.

When Michelle wasn’t chasing dogs or watching movies with her younger brother Tyler, Michelle would often hang out with her cousin Amy. In October of 2006, the pair went to the Cineplex Odeon movie theatre in Niagara Falls, where Michelle met Kenton for the first time. After having the strange-to-her young man eat her fallen lettuce from her favourite chicken burger from A&W, Amy dared Michelle to talk to him.

After a couple years of flirting, Kenton and Michelle officially came together in May 2008. Shortly after, Michelle would meet Kenton's friends Patrick, Austin and Ana. The group would spend their weekends marathoning movies and devouring .50 cent wings at Hooligan's Sports Bar and Grill.

In high school, Michelle volunteered at the Niagara Falls Humane Society on Saturday mornings. Knowing that she loved animals as much as she loved her friends and family, Michelle pursued an education in Veterinary Medicine, taking the Vet Technician Program at Seneca College in King City, Ontario. There she met Amanda, Jess and her Maid-of-Honour Becca. Michelle's compassion for animals propelled her towards the top of her class in her graduating year.

It didn't take long for Michelle to find a job after college, attaining employment at the McLeod Road Animal Clinic. Michelle's passion for animals quickly impressed her employers, and has been trusted with the duties of a seasoned professional, including aiding in major surgeries on all kids of animals.

Kenton and Michelle now happily live in their new home in Niagara Falls, where they enjoy their spacious and unusual backyard. They have adopted two pets, Felicia the cat and Jack the rabbit. They love having friends and family over for burgers and drinks, and can't wait to tie the knot!
